Description
The Withdrawing Room at Ham House, Richmond-upon-Thames. The cabinet on a stand inlaid with ebony, tortoiseshell and marble is probably Antwerp, 1630s. The collection of blue-and-white Kangxi porcelain is on the cabinet, and chimneypiece, with a late-sixteenth or early-seventeenth century Ming vase in the fireplace.
