Description
The Library at Polesden Lacey, nr Dorking, Surrey. The room was designed for Mrs Greville by Mewes and Davis. The large early 19th-century mahogany writing table is covered with numerous framed photographs of Mrs Greville's guests. The colour scheme of the room is yellow and white, enlivened by touches of blue in the ceramics.
