Description
The Temple of Piety with pediment and Tuscan columns, seen over the Canal and Half-Moon pond, and the statue of Bacchus in front, at Studley Royal Water Garden, North Yorkshire. The gardens were created in 1716 by John Aislabie and continued by his son William in the later eighteenth century.
