Description
Wooden gate leading to the east side of the house at Godolphin House, once the home of Queen Anne's Lord High Treasurer, Sidney Godolphin, near Helston, Cornwall. The original fortified house was replaced in the fifteenth-century and later additions made it the finest house in Cornwall by the seventeenth-century.
