Description

The south wing entrance of Lyveden New Bield near Oundle, Northamptonshire, with the west and east wings visible to either side. Sir Thomas Tresham started this building in 1595 as a representation of his Catholic faith but work stopped in 1605 on his death, and it remained incomplete.
