Description

The south and east wings, viewed from the south east, across the dry moat at Lyveden New Bield near Oundle, Northamptonshire. Sir Thomas Tresham started this building in 1595 as a representation of his Catholic faith but work stopped in 1605 on his death, and it remained incomplete.
