Description
Hart's Tongue and Maidenhead Spleenwort ferns growing in the empty basement rooms at Seaton Delaval Hall, Northumberland, built between 1718 and 1728 for Admiral George Delaval and designed by Sir John Vanbrugh. The central part of the house was gutted by a fire in 1822.
