The plasterwork ceiling in the Drawing Room at Canons Ashby c.1632, with pomegranates and thistles and Indian princesses within strapwork cartouches. Sir John Dryden's coat of arms is inserted into the celing, the central pendant of the plasterwork ceiling which may have been used to hang a chandelier, is visible above the coat of arms.
