Description
The Library at Hinton Ampner, Hampshire with Regency furniture and Ralph Dutton's collection of books. Ralph Dutton owned Hinton Ampner from 1935 until his death in 1985. The interiors were largely destroyed by a fire in 1960, but the Library was rebuilt in the same style as before. The painting above the fireplace is "Esther fainting before Ahasuerus" by Fontebasso.
