Description

The East Oriel window which lights the Solar at the fifteenth-century Great Chalfield Manor, Wiltshire. The semi-circular oriel window is crowned with strawberry leaf ornament and has six transomed lights rising from six traceried panels. The window rests on a traceried base with mask corbels and is supported by a buttress. A stone soldier gable end can be seen on the rooftop.
