Photograph of Willaston Windmill, in Willaston, Wirral, Merseyside. It is Wirral's tallest mill, built circa 1800, and was working until the 1930s, when its sails were destroyed in a storm. This image was taken from the side, showing the windmill towering over surrounding houses, with just the basic mechanism left where the sails once were.
