Description
The arched niche in the Dining Room at Hughenden Manor, Buckinghamshire, home of prime minister Benjamin Disraeli between 1848 and 1881. The white marble reliefs representing the passions are by Orazio Marinale (1643-1720) and were originally on the staircase at the Palazzo Grimani in Venice.
