William Morris painted the scene from Malory, representing Sir Lancelot bringing Sir Tristram and the Belle Iseult to Joyous Gard. Janey Morris appears as a seated figure on the left, and Burne-Jones feeding a cherry to his wife, Georgiana, on the right.
