This is a view taken by Edward Chambré Hardman from Bwlch Coch of Llanberiss Pass through Snowdonia. It is a striking image with part of the mountain in the foreground framing the rest of the image. The other mountain peaking in the background are much lighter. The image is rich in texture due to the contrast between the rock of the mountain and the foliage growing on it. There are faint wispy clouds in the background. Taken c.1944
